Home Equals Planet: The 5th Global Entreps Awards and 5Gcitizens International Congress
Earth5R has been selected for the Global Entreps Award for its project Home Equals Planet. The project is among the 300 World Best Practices on Sustainability and Innovation for the 5th edition of the Global Entreps Awards and 5Gcitizens International Congress, making Earth5R a champion among 5,000 candidates.
Entreps, the International Board of Global Actors and Business for Sustainability is a global multi-stakeholder organization working towards sustainability and good governance. Entreps rewards successful initiatives that raise awareness and are sustainable. The organization was established on 26th June 2010.
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, the 5th edition of the Global Entreps Awards and 5Gcitizens International Congress targets the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, key technologies such as AI or 5G for sustainability, responsible business undertaking, and good governance.
The Global Entreps Awards involve over 1,000 global jurors from 126 countries. The Global Jurors are committed diplomats, public figures, associations, researchers, and influential citizens working towards sustainability and governance.
What is Earth5R’s Home Equals Planet project?
Home Equals Planet is an initiative comprising 15 tangible actions that are taken by citizens on an individual level. These are a step towards a sustainable planet and a healthier lifestyle. The actions promote simple actions like eating home-cooked food, segregating waste, spending time in nature, and so on.
The 15 actions are associated with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and aim to create a better future for all by 2030. Home Equals Planet covers areas like Waste Management, Health, creating a Circular Economy, etc.
Earth5R is an environmental organization from India with its head office in Mumbai. It works with the NGO sector, Companies and helps them conduct environmental Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs across India.
